REGIONAL CLUSTER EVENTS

10 Regional Cluster Events on ‘New Curricula for e-Leadership – Delivering Skills for an Innovative and Competitive Europe’ will be organised by the European Commission in cities across the entire European Union. Each event will be hosted by a leading university, business school or other organisation with a strong contribution to e-leadership skills development. Primarily targeted to innovative employers, CIOs and their associations, presentations will also be of great interest to universities and business schools as well as to policy-makers interested in promoting innovation.

The key objectives of the events are to

  • Bring together a wide group of complementary stakeholders and policy makers from cluster countries,
  • Present and discuss results, achievements and conclusions on guidelines for new e-leadership curricula
  • Give insight into planned and running demonstrations of new e-leadership curricula from participating universities and business schools
  • Provide illustration of successful approaches to communication and marketing to promote uptake of e-leadership curricula
  • Offer participation to universities and business schools from across each cluster region
  • Engage employer associations, federations and associations contributing to the field, particularly EuroCIO, with its national members, and CIONET, representing European CIOs
  • Inform about and discuss lessons learned to streamline further curricular provision and employer recognition
